Los Angeles

This series explored different forms of Los Angeles architecture at night, photographed with available light. Focusing on how lights or neon illuminate buildings and landscape, the series often emphasizes the artificial dramatic, façade-like qualities of the city by night: some beautiful, others seamy. While these images are now 20 years old, they seem closely related to the aesthetics of entertainment architecture, which prevails today.
