Bodies of Illusion

This series is about the difference between photographic reality and the virtuality of computer-generated imagery. The tryptichs juxtapose flat, graphic optical illusions with images of an embracing couple rendered in Poser, a modeling program. These elements are combined to create a dialogue between illusionism and human contact, or the sensory and the sensual.
